Among other adventures we're having in Mexico City this month, we've made friends with the creative collective behind ATEA (Arte Taller Estudio Arquitectura). An independent gallery, workspace, and much more, the folks at ATEA do everything from fabric arts to social interventions to bike building to rooftop film screenings.
After renovating one floor of a warehouse in the hectic Merced district, they've been able to install murals in the parking lot behind the building and build sculptures and throw events on the roof.

We're trying to talk them into starting Feast Mexico...
