Feast Mass is a recurring dinner party in Boston. During the night, people present proposals for creative, community-engaged projects that need funding. Everyone votes, and the winner receives a grant funded entirely from the night's ticket sales.
We're going to be on the radio tomorrow for Jordan Tynes' Radio Context. We'll be having a conversation about Feast, micro-funding and the arts, and our graphic design co-operative, Golden Arrows. The show is part of Jordan's graduate thesis exhibition at SMFA, and is hosted / on view at his studio, the Howard Art Project. The show involves about 75 hours of scheduled airtime, featuring interviews with artists, musicians, local figures and key representatives of the Dorchester community where the space is located.
